Swayam Sarangi

Swayam Sarangi is a Product Manager in Cisco’s Provider Connectivity group, responsible for the Metro Edge business with the Cisco 8000 product line. In this role, Swayam leads the product management charter for next generation Cisco Silicon one product development and expansion across top Service provider customers in North America. Swayam also owns the product management charter for Cisco 8000 centralized portfolio. Prior to his current role Swayam has played multiple other strategic roles within Cisco. Swayam was one of the founding members to help transform Cisco’s Routing HW business into an aaS, based on recurring revenue-driven Software business. Swayam was also one of the key members to help drive Cisco’s acquisition strategy for Acacia communications. Prior to Cisco, Swayam had a career in consulting, having driven strategy and execution initiatives for multiple enterprise customers. Swayam holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from KIIT Bhubaneswar, India and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Georgia Tech in Atlanta.
